The Problem
The Crisis We Face
Why affordable, Christ-centered recovery is desperately needed.
According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), 19.7 million American adults battled a substance abuse disorder in 2017.
Though program costs will be variable, one might expect standard inpatient addiction treatment facilities to cost between $14,000 and $27,000 for a 30-day program, and outpatient treatment can range from free to $500 per session (American Addiction Centers, 2017).
According to the CDC, nearly 841,000 people have died since 1999 from a drug overdose. In 2019, 70,630 drug overdose deaths occurred in the United States. The age-adjusted rate of overdose deaths increased by over 4% from 2018 (20.7 per 100,000) to 2019 (21.6 per 100,000).

Stories of Hope & Transformation
Pastor Matthew Barnett shares how newcomers, often arriving from the streets or broken situations, sit on an old lobby bench and are met with kindness, safety, and hope. That bench symbolizes more than rest—it marks the first step toward healing and a brand-new future.
